Our tremendous discovery of the day is this fantastic chart listing 40 uses of four of the most popular and versatile essential oils: Lavender, Lemon, Melaleuca (Tea Tree) and Peppermint! One of the things I really like about this chart is that it contains not only aromatherapy uses but has all manner of other uses including cleaning, health / natural remedies and bug deterrents.
The full sized chart is in PDF format (link at the end) which means it is perfect for printing out and I think it would be a great idea to do so before it gets lost in the “information ocean” – so that you can keep it together with your essential oils / home remedies / first aid supplies and have it to hand.
Jillee of OneGoodThingByJillee.com did her homework on this chart for sure. Some of these are pretty fascinating – for example one I was not aware of was that breathing the aroma of peppermint during a meal can make you feel full faster. How’s that for a simple, natural dieting aid? Amazing.
For those who want to research deeper and do their homework – we also have in-depth pages on these essential oils with a significant amount of information, including scientific study references and other popular uses of the oils:
Lavender Essential Oil – In Depth Guide
Lemon Essential Oil – In Depth Guide
Melaleuca (Tea Tree) Essential Oil – In Depth Guide
Peppermint Essential Oil – In Depth Guide
Also we have a full-length page Top 10 Uses For Tea Tree which goes into further detail on the uses and benefits of Tea Tree.
Ok, here’s the link to the full sized PDF for printing on Jillee’s original page 40 Uses For 4 Essential Oils.
